BUT when i put it on the lil knobbie going into the throttle body..it doesnt start. . .any idea's? (i had the air box off and fule filter. . .)

well the fuel pump doesnt go to the throttle body, that may very well be your problem.

blah, dpfi, nevermind.
Hum, are you sure its pumping gas when you turn the key on? and do you have it wired to the on position on the iggnition or the start position?

i stick it to the batt...i was gonna make sure it worked b4 i wired it up right....its shooting gas out...but when i put the fuel line on.....nothing
EDIT: if u put gas in top it starts right up.

sounds like its not priming, but if you have hooked directly to the battery it should be

an in line fuel pump pushed fuel better than it pulls it. you should just buy a walbro replacement kit from http://www.autoperformanceengineering.com/ cheaper and better than OEM.

maybe u didnt understand...im GETTING gas...just not when i put it on the tb....I've had a lot of ppl say the gas line doesnt go on the TB...where else would it go!?!?...anyway...the knob u put the line on...has a lil filter thing on the other side of it....maybe thats stopped up?? so that piece bolts off...so if i get another 1 maybe it would work. . .

do you have mpfi or dpfi?, dpfi does bolt to the throttle body, I'm not sure what you mean by knob. The pump has an let and outlet, you should be able to just cut the hose going from the fuel filter to the intake and put the pump inline. Shouldnt even have to unbolt it from anything to do that.

i cut out the fuel filter...because the pump came with 1....it has the lil circle thing on top i think dpfi...u know where u put the fuel line...that goes to it...that thing is the knob

you may be getting fuel but you may not be getting enough Pressure, if you get fuel at 1 psi the car won't run. if you can get it at 40psi that's a different story.
hense my Push pull comment. an in line fuel pump should be mounted as close to the tank as possible to maintain fuel pressure... it's like trying to suck juice thru a real long straw.
