Le Mans contest entry #2: 1964 Shelby Daytona coupe - completed

This is a 1964 Shelby Daytona Cobra coupe that finished fourth at LeMans and first in its class. Based on a Gunze kit with many upgrades. Used Testors lacquer (Nassau Metallic Blue) on body.

Thanks for the comments. This kit was more than I bargained for as far as having to upgrade the kit, but it really came out well.

As far as the license plate goes, this car and the other team car (car #6) ran with the same identical plate on both cars in the 1964 LeMans race.
