nope, but it looks awesome....maybe when i get a new ps2 ill get it. I like that you can race people for slips online. friend has it and says its pretty good.

there is also another one coming out sometime soon called "Juiced" that is pretty much the same concept. looked pretty good

It's a bunch of bodykits shooting exhaust flames. I don't have high hopes. Just wait for Gran Turismo 4 to come out this year, it's going to have a GSX... along with 700+ other cars.

ya i cant wait for GT4. I loved GT3 and got pretty far, but its really long. I was pretty disapointed not to see an eclipse, but in GT4 its gonna be different. The thing I love about GT4 is that its so realistic, its like real driving.

NFS underground is good. i think. i got interested for a while. But i think HALO is the best.

yeah i thought nfsug was pretty good. i do like gran turismo though. i just want a really nice street racing game that uses actual produtcts and lets you modify the shit out of your car.

I did like nfsug in the sense that you could trick out your car w/ street mods. I hated the actual racing portion of it. Im not saying it sucked but grand turismo driving is the best. I wanna get the shifter and pedals :biggrin: . Does anybody know how those work? If you drive a manual car, do you need to use the clutch? I cant wait for GT4!

There is yet to be a realistic game that has a clutch in it. I read something about it in a gran turismo 4 FAQ I believe. The people with the driving wheels usually are better than others at the game, though.

SRS sucks! i am so dissapointed! NFSUG is a great racing game all in itself. it is no GT, but the racing is fast paced as hell and you can feel the speed.

as far as SRS goes - no feel for speed, bad physics engine. yes, you can mod your shit, but there are only minor diferences in a highly modded car and a stock one.

I am pissed to all hell that GT4 isn't coming out for the xbox. I am considering buying a PS2 for the sole purpose of playing that game. Every time I get mad about it though, I just count down the days until November 9th and Halo2 ;).

There is also an attempted GT4 competitor coming out for Xbox this winter. It is made by Microsoft, called Forza Motorsport. It should be pretty damn good considering it is a Microsoft product...they seldom go half-assed on things.

another off topic post. ok, i saw this breather filter on ebay and it cost 66 bucks plus shipping! thats rediculous. that is one of those things when you REALLY buy the name a not the product. you can buy these things off places other than ebay for like 12 bucks. naaww i just dont like outbreak. i have need for speed underground on pc, its cool, just to manny fucking stickers involved, where they should have had more parts insted of just packaged upgrades. why wont they come out with a game that requires you to know a few things about cars. make it so the more you know the better your ride will be in the game, design the game so you can dive inside the engin bay and tinker with shit, maybe even virtual installs, everything from engien swaps, to oil changes. when its time, you have to pull every hose, wrench every bolt, torque every bolt that it take to your doing it for real. thats what i want to see.

thats gonna need alot of programmers working on that countless nights. Their view is that, I can spend 1 yr making a game and it will cost me $50,000. Why should I spend 3 yrs and 150,000 when i can make the same money with choice #1. I guess this is how they see it. Its all about the money! But a game like that would be very interesting and fun.

gearhead garage was kinda like that.. you had to bolt up all the major components and stuff.. but there wasnt much modding in that game.. plus the graphics sucked azz.. but you gotta think if you make it to were you gotta spend 30 minutes building the engine up each time your gonna end up having a lot of people get tired of it after a few minutes.. i find its all about instant gratifacation in games.. you build up the car, go race and weap the the rewards.. im just wondering if that would make it to drawn out of a process...

i played a pc game that you customise the car and engine. you would go to the street and race for money and buy turbos and sruff. it was ok. its called street legal i think

wow....my aunt just asked me to fix her old pc. she is givin it to me cause i wanna network it with my other 2 PCs. First off it takes 45 minutes to load. Second she has had it for almost a year with NO virus protection. I find over 200 virus'.

Ive been sitting here for over 2 hours gettin this thing to work right.

But here is the problem. It is running windows 98. My desktop pc and laptop are both windows XP. I can get shared files from the 98 to show up in the xp network folders. But i cant get the folders from XP to show up in the windows 98 network folders.

Anyone know what im doin wrong?????

98 and XP hardly communicate perfect, but from my experience, if you wait a while it will come up. If not, consider it a glitch which you can work around.

Are you running your network off of windows xp's network wizard? I think this might be your poblem, since the xp home networking does have alot of glitches in it. Also are you running on a wireless network or are you connected w/ cables? Ill let you know if I find anything out.

you got the same kinds of network cards on each pc. I am setting up my wireless network at home now. Wireless baby! Im running the fastest Belkin 802.11g network. I got a router and 3 desktop network cards. This shits gonna be tight.

i was gonna setup a wireless network but i dont see the point.. i spent 15 hours a few years a ago helpin my dad run the network cable through the house and we have a good working setup.. plus i dont have a laptop and i have yet to carry my pc around the house so... yeah im good with the wire..

15 hours?!?!? is your house massive??? I took me about 2 hours if that to run cat5 through 3 rooms and down into the basement to connect all of our pcs last yr

well we ran it to 4 bedrooms upstairs, my dads den on the main floor and the kidchen for my moms desk from the basement. we were also running tv coaxal at the same time to 3 of the bedrooms because the house only had it to the master bdrm.. it took a while because we had some complications with feeding it up to the attic.. we ran it almost straight up through the wall behing the hub the first time but that we had really bad interference from power wires or something so we ened up running it accross the house and up beside the laundry chute.... long story short its all in and works great.. peace

yeah it was definatly a b.. but it was all worth it the first time i opened ie without dialing up and surfed the net at speeds faster than i ever thought possible (had a 768k dsl line just turn on at the time), but now its even better.. they switched us upto 3mb a few months ago.. now i rarely hit of 2.2 when i do a bandwith test but considering they up us for no extra and i was happy b 4.. im one happy mofo when im online hahahhahahah
