I Once had the Fastest Saturn EVER It was a 1995 Gold Saturn SC2 with the complete works. This car was stock when I got it at 50000 miles. It was Slow, too. But it had quite a purr and the stock intake was loud. Anyways I went and got a performance bomb in an RS Racing Box....Brand NEW....It looks very, very similar to the picture of the RS Racing Muffler on the box....
I went to a local muffler shop and for $100 I got my bomb and 2 1/4 piping from the CAT Back. I said goodbye to the stock Saturn muffler in the dumpster.........On the ride home I thought I got gipped......My car was still slow...Oh well, it was loud, too. Then two blocks from my house I get rear ended by a Lexus RX-300......Nice Little dent in the tip of my exaust and other damage.....I still drove the car around every day........
After a couple of weeks I started noticing that my car was becoming kind of fast..........Then I realized that my exaust broke itself in and was fully acquainted with my 1.9 L Twin Cam engine.......This car went on to beat Civic SI's with intake and exausts, Civic EX's (SOHC VTEC), Accords with VTEC, Certain Mustangs, and anything else that moved I tried......
Then The Insurance Declared that There was too much damage on the Car....They paid me book value and took it away.......Of course, first I cut off the Muffler....And test drove it...and it became even faster and louder....I wish I never would have given it up!!!
Now I'm stuck with a Lousy VTEC Civic.:bloated:

I can say my saturn isnt the best, but its got good lift. I took out everyhting in the trunk, to loose weight. The torque is great, i can even line lock the wheels. Too bad the max speed is only 105. ;) After i pay the cc off for getting the underlight kit and 500$$$ into a good system, im gonna work on getting a turbo or a supercharger. :D

Instead of giving it to your Car Insurance company you should have signed it up for all motor drag. Those people take 4bangers and some how put out in excess of 300hp without the need of turbos or superchargers, which are outlawed from this type of competition. Drop a couple of extra pounds, put in racing seats, perhaps displace the engine a bit, tweak the engine some more and you could have joined those types of competition. Even though there are some 2nd Generation RX-7s and VW Golfs, I think one of the fastest is a Honda Civic with stock cams and about his only engine tweaks were intake and exhaust, his intake was pretty elaborate though.

I guess you can get another Saturn SC2 Gold Edition and do the almost the same exact think that happened to your last ride. :evillaugh
