New Saturn Owner yay

i picked up a 1993 Saturn SC2 today!

5speed short shifter, muffler, custom hoodscoop thats functional
1/4 ever made from XRC

yay

its a nice car
has a cd player
12 inch sub in the back

1200 bucks
i think i did good with this one

i just got a few things to work out
like the passenger side window is off track

the driver side seatbelt doesnt retract

and a leak in one of the AC hoses

well looks like i got some work cut out for me

any comments? suggestions? free turbos?!?! lol

o and when my dad gets home from grocery store im gonna try and fit the 17 in rims off my old car on to this one!!

you got a XRC shaker scoop? COOL! i almost bought one but they whent out of business just before i had the money saved up.

can you go in to more detail about the A/C problem?
does the dome light come on for the drivers door?
check the service records(the saturn dealership can get a print out for you),see if the ECTS has been replaced in the last 3 years.
i think that is also the 95/96 front bumper, it had better air flow to the engine bay.
i'm going to post a how-to on taking the dash apart in a few days, it may help you with the window.

what a day i had

i found out i need spacers for my rims!!!
my friend gave me 2 but i still need 2 more


and i locked my keys in the car already
had to call Tripple A!!!

i took off the rims from my 240sx
took the rims off the saturn
put the 17s on the saturn
put some steelies on the 240sx
and than i had to take 2 off the saturn again to put spacers
now i prolly have to wait til monday to get 2 more to put on the front

the ride is nice
i need to fix the window asap tho
like next 1-2 days, cuz its hotter than a mo fugga

wheel spacers? on the rears be careful. there is no room to work with(i know that for a fact on rear disks, i don't know about with drums.

Take it to the dealer for the seat belt. They will probably fix it for free. (liability reasons)

im gonna call saturn on my day off and see what they say, and hopefully tomorrow i can get the 2 spacers i need, and fix the window maybe

ahhhh i think one of my fuses blew while i was messing with the neons plugged into the lighter
where is the fuse box on this thing? it made the power locks not work anymore!!

two fuse blocks in there - one under the hood by the battery, the other behind the passinger kick panel(just pull it straght out)(check owners manual if you can't find it)

passenger side damnit!! wtf

well i fixed it
and now i stripped my lug studs
so i got some this morning
now im waiting for this rain to quit damnit!!!
