standard to zc?

hello, i have a 89 civic standard, with the 4 speed and everything, i was wanting to do a zc motor swap, i was planning on ordering the zc with 5 speed and ecu combo from nippon but i was wondering is it as easy to switch to zc as it is with a dx? and what about 4 speed to 5 speed? please help me thank you

Its an easy swap. The only thing is that you have to convert dpfi to mpfi. Search it...you'll see alot of ppl asked this question :)

when you order the swap, it comes with the MPFI. the only other thing you need is a resistor box. You can get one from a Si CRX, its a little silver box about 2 inches long that's in the very top right of the engine bay.

And since you have an STD lol, your going to need to get new hubs and axles. You'll need to upgrade to DX/Si hubs and halfshafts.

If you have the choice, order your ZC with an Si transmission and then you can use your stock axles and hub assembly. If you get the ZC, you'll need 90-91 integra axles, and knuckles from an 88-91 DX/LX/EX/Si or 90-93 non ABS integra knuckles. with the 90-91 EX or 90-93 teg spindles, you'll also need atleast a 14" steel wheel since 13" wheels and the 14" alloy wheels from Si models will not clear the larger brake setup.
