Starting problem

My Impala I just bought will not start. It was running great pulled up today and it would not start again. Battery is good just nothing happens when I turn the key. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Trouble code B2960, short in Passlock Sensor. Replaced Ignition Cylinder. The same thing happened to mine at 26,000 miles. Mine was covered under warrany so I don't recall how much it cost.
