dont go with a cutout, just have a 2.5" mandral (that doesnt look like its spelt right but I cant seem to make it look better....) bent tubing, then you can just adapt it to the downpipe of the turbo when you get it.

wait until you put your turbo in to get exhaust, it won't do much for you now. I think a 3" downpipe to 3" exhaust would be nice

ya i thinking of going with mandrel bent tubing...being on the subject proably next week i was going to drive to summit racing pic some that up. so you dont think a cut out be a good idea?

Ya, a cutout would be good.. If you're seriously going to be turbo, I'd get 2.75" or something big. Turbos like no exhausts. :)

well i wanna go with 2 1/4 mandrel bent and have a cut out put on right by the down pipe when i eventually put the b20 turbo in it....wondering if a 2 1/4 mandrel be good a d16a6 motor for now?

2.25 will be fine for your A6, but its pussy for a B series motor especially a turbo.

If you're REALLY REALLY REALLY going to be doing turbo (not just dreaming) then don't get any smaller than 2.5". Seriously man, 2.5 will be much better.

i not dreaming of the motor have the all b20 after market parts ready bolt on just need pay to get it resleeved...only thing i need get is turbo...and that will do it...so i go with 2.25 for now maybe just sell it to whoever when i get other motor done and put in

yeah if i was you i would go with 2.5 because if u got 2.25 it will be good for now but you will get more flow with 2.5 when u get b series motor..

I'd say get a 2.5" it will still work good with a turbo (unless u have a huge turbo) and won't hold it back as much as a 2.25"
