since the plugs of a si and a 92-93 teg are different. would it better to take a dizzy from a 90-91 teg (got one spare). or should i just change the plugs.

USE THE 90-91...but you may have to modify the ears (mounting points), not sure if all 3 bolts will line up.

Yes...92-93 is obd1 (apples and oranges)...If I'm not mistaken, obd1 dizzy's have the ignitor outside and a few other differences...I thought you had a spare? Wouldnt it be much easier to use that than figuring out how to rewire a different distributor?

only an obd0 dizzy will work with an obd0 ecu. You could run the obd1 92-93 dizzy if you were running an obd1 ecu. The pickup gears on the inside of the dizzy are different. They will not work. what engine do you have? If you have an si motor get an si dizzy. If you have an ls motor...get the ls dizzy.
