im guessing by the fact that you are still here talking that the civic saved your life?
a pug? please tell me you dont own a french car....please
I like your civic...the wheels are spot on and the red trim is nice, very "hot hatch" my friend has a 93 coupe with a b16a2...very very fun engine...I helped him install that...its so nice working on other cars sometmes, like my friend said "hondas come apart and go together so easily...kinda like lego"

and its true...everything fits...we didnt need to get the welder out once :S

yeah it did save my life thats why i have had 3 now , gotta give it to em, they are brilliant cars, i strayed away for about 6 months when i bought a Japanise Charade GTti but it was built so shit everything corroded and broke, hondas are brilliant, nothing snaps, nothing bends, nothing is ever awkward, they are great little cars!

and as for the pug , that was my girlfriends, she now has an Audi A3 1.8T sport :)

so your saying that from a FMIC and a 3" exhaust he can go from 180 HP at the crank to 200 to the wheels :sly:

I actually do believe that. I've seen it done. FMIC, upgrade exhaust and downpipe, chipped comp (expensive) will get you into the 13s! That doesn't sound like much mod does it? It shaves off 2 seconds of your 1/4 time lol! Pretty impressive. But they're heavy as shit though...

yes of course if you run too big of a cooler, then you increase the pressure drop from one side of the cooler to the other

In other words...it'll cause a LAG!

His RX-7 looks dope though

no not lag
pressure drop
as in where you would have 10 psi at the manifold witha smaller cooler...you will have only 78 or 8 with an intercooler that is too big...a pound of boost is good for 10-15 hp depending on how effiecient your mapping and turbocharger is

mk4 golfs are heavy as shit...pull their heart and jam it into a mk1 or mk2, and youve got a sleeper and a half

I seriously thought it cause a larger lag?

I luv my dubs..but it sure doesnt take much for most of you guys to easily take a heavy 15sec car. a b18a/b with one or two bolt ons should do the trick:iceslolan

HAHA, you reported me? but why...because this guy cant beat a VW owner and says were better than them...well yes, if he didnt suck so bad in his civic then maybe we wouldent KNOW were better...just a thought:grinyes:

A larger intercooler will cause lag in pressure to the manifold as well. The larger area will require more air to fill the tank, and take longer to get to full pressure at the intake.

some of us with a well built Honda aren't really even feeling this thread..but seriously how many of u can achieve a sub 15 sec run against a 1.8T? maybe just a handful..my opinion VW's are well built and respected cars..but with the right setup a vr6 swapped mk1-2 golf is just as timid to me as a GSR swapped 4th gen.. there are soo many variations..but i really do respect both! but yeah im very open minded person..and knowing most of you fellow 4th gen enthusiast..most of u do respect foreign and domestic motors..they should never be doubted

as for the brain capacity..it doesnt matter when any auto maker is involved..it comes down to your imagination..and your Power of Dreams:evillol:
