if you read correctly, im not blaming him for the povery before, but povery is still growing, and hes done aboslutely nothing to help stop it. NOTHING

oh yeah hes a great economic leader

Looks like he has done something:
http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/reports/taxplan.html

I'm sorry but I could make more than $13,000 a year at Mc Donalds or Wal-Mart if I had to. If a family of 4, 2 adults and two children, can't make at least $13,000, someone doesn't want to work very hard. Much easier to complain about "the man" while hitting the bong and sitting around the house than actually working for a living. Funny how 9 times out of 10 the people that say they can't afford this and that for their family because of the President, any President, find money for beer, cigarettes, fast food and bling for the car. It really makes me feel bad for the people who REALLY can't work because of a disability or something like that. It should make them mad too.

Its the right of every citizen in the US to agree or disagree with the president. Those republicans are not disagreeing with Bush about Iraq but they want the president to bomb and shoot to retake cities that are under siege but terrorists. They are not disagreeing with Bush they just want more action.

And TRD 2 or 3 people don't make the whole republican party. I am sure we could find the same in the democratic party as well as any other party. Even the Mcdonald's birthday party!

TRD2000

They also said he is not being "straight" about Iraq, and that he was putting of action in Iraq because of the election despite the fact it will cost more lives.

I'm sure many democrats do agree, but in politics coming out and saying something against your party is usually a last resort, not normality. It usually represents a level of incoherancy within the party, which is usually the result of an unpopular decision by the leader.

Also, they seemed to recognise that bombing and shelling would not work, it hasn't for the last 10 years, they want to send in more troops.

thought.
"terrorists" really is a quaint catch phrase... it seems everyone but the US with a gun is a terrorist these days...

From the white house website...

Over the past several months, the economy has slowed dramatically.

If that's the best spin they can put on it,the economy must be really sick.

Keep believing that you could go grab a job at McD's anytime you want, you will find that since Bozo cheated his way into the white house, there's another 1.5 million people all looking for that job.Don't kid yourself that you'd get it based on your CV either, it takes special attributes to work all night for shit money while being abbused by Joe Public.

or maybe the fact that Caldwell County used to be the biggest furniture manufacturing area in the world, now its china, id be more then happy to bet my life savings that %75 of the people living in caldwell county, 10 years ago worked in a furniture factory, or drove a truck delivering furniture.

When i was in elementry school every year the teacher would ask the kids to raise there hands if they had at least one parent working with the furniture business, there usually wasnt a single hand not raised.

Mc Donalds, Wal-Mart, Best Buy, etc. My point was that I would work 2 or 3 jobs if that's what I had to do to keep my family fed even though it would be much easier to sit around and bitch about it being everybody else's fault. Also, if all of the jobs dried up maybe it's time to move. Better blame Bush for all of the out of work Buggy Whip builders, too. Again, thank Clinton/ NAFTA for the jobs going overseas. Better yet, thank technology, Unions, sweat shops and "The Man." Just don't blame yourself.

And please show some proof of how Bush cheated his way into the White House. Again, more bombs from the left.

Kinda sucks when 250 of your "fellow" soldiers turn on you too.

I don't know any business that was started to support people and their lifestyles. As far as I know a business is started to make money. Businesses are in the business to make money and not give it away. Times change and the people have to be willing to change with it or they will be sitting on their asses in the poverty line. The business I am in changes every year I have to adapt to it or be left behind and that is what happened in your county, people got lazy and didn't adapt.

When you get laid off of your job, or what ever and you dont have any money to pay for some thing you need, i wont give you any pitty cuz i will call you lazy too. You dont know these people, so dont judge. maybe i shouldnt judge as much either, but just because these people dont have mommy and daddy to pay for every thing doesnt mean you can talk shit about them.

They way the auto business is I don't have to worry about losing my job. And if it did I can go right back to the airlines or I can go into computers. So I would have no problems with a job but I may take my 6 months of unemployment as a vacation.

As for my momy and daddy they didn't pay a dime for my eduction. Everything I have I earned. If I fall I only have myself to blame and no one else.

When you said "They don't seem to like kerry very much. Not many Vets do." You presumed to speak for vets. Well, most vets that I know of personally, are NOT voting for Bush, regardless of what some poll says.

I'll believe the polls when I get asked to vote in one. Certainly no one asked this vet, who he's voting for.

Also, you revile CBS for their stupid forged documents one second, yet claim their numbers for back-up, when it supports you...love 'em or hate 'em, which one is it?

Any vet who would vote for Kerry is twisted... The man has been honored in the Ho Chi Min museum as a hero for his lying in front of congress in 1971 about attrocities he "both witnessed and participated in" which helped the communist NVA win. How sick does it make you to know that our prisoners who were held in the "Hanoi-Hilton" were allowed to hear only one radio broadcast from the U.S. the entire time they were in captivity, Kerry's testimony. That turned them, in the eyes of their captors, from POWs to war-criminals in one fell swoop. If that doesn't infuriate you then you are sick in the head.
I'm a combat vet who, although not a big fan of Bush's spending record, would rather see someone in the white house that at least sticks to a position for more than 1 day.
Kerry has been an irrelevent senator (missed almost HALF of votes on the floor) who has been a politcal opportunist all of his adult life. Spending 4 months "in country" then coming back and telling lies, tossing medals over the white house fence, protesting in marches, and writing exagerration-filled books about your exploits Winter Soldier (http://ice.he.net/~freepnet/kerry/index.php?topic=NewSoldier) doesn't make one a viable presidential candidate in my book. And his scumbag wife cannot buy class no matter how much money she has. Bush has plenty of his own faults but to me he is the lesser of 2 evils.
So the rest of the world hates him? Big-fucking-deal! Since when do we have to ask permission to do anything? Since when do we have to apologise for protecting our interest? When did we start hating ourselves for being so successful? Yes, we carry a very big stick but we are pretty benign to the world as a whole.
I pushed the thread-starter on why he was so against our war with Iraq, he replied "This war will endanger my family". A cheesemaker in New Zealand is "endangered" by our war with terrorism...
Somebody needs to get off of the computer, go outside and smell the flowers, and thank GOD someone in this world has the guts to fight terrorists and the countries that support them because the feckless U.N and Annan surely haven't done a damn thing to stop them. Just look at reports from the Sudan and the UN response (or lack of it) and tell me they are willing or able to stop the genocide!

I've been working since I was 12years old. Started mowing lawns when my Grandfather helped me get started. After that, I spent everday after school, every spring break, every saturday working at my Dads car dealership. After high school I worked for a roofing company for 2 1/2 years then worked for an up-scale home remodeling company and now I'm a lithographer where I've worked for the last 8 1/2 years working 6-7 days a week for months at a time. I'm married, have a 2 year old daughter and our son is due next month, live in a nice house in a nice area, new car in the garage for the wife next to my GN and a little money in the bank and yes, I too, have earned everything I have. As far as "internet toughness", I don't see where you get the idea I was acting tough but, if it makes you happy, I also have a few guns but don't really see what that matters.

I'm sorry if I offended you in some way, I was just sharing my views like everyone else here, but for what it's worth, I thank you for your service in the military. My father-in-law was a pilot in the Navy.
