Spoiler Question

actually it's designed to give downforce on the REAR wheels, how would a rear wing keep the front wheels down........seems to me like that type of spoiler is doing exactly what it is designed to do......

thats not functional...look at the picture...whats the purpose of a wing? to hold the wheels on the ground..
as u can see the front left wheel is Off of the ground.

the guy is turning hard to the left thats why the driver side front wheel is off the ground... but look the driver side rear wheel is on the ground... maybe because of the spoiler

Well i am looking for something that looks good as well cuz i want my car to be a show car as well. WHat about the mid rise wings west wing? With the OEM light on it? I just want something that's different and since you guys dont think the (park bench) spoiler will look good on it then i have to have something. And i dont want this car to look stock cuz then it will just look like everyone else's. I want it to be different with a race type edge to it. Thats why i wanted to get the APR Aluminum Wing that is shown on the Supra in the first Fast and Furious. It would look great on a Camaro, Plus my car is black and the wing would look nice if it was aluminum, or so i think it would. I know it wont serve much purpose but if i happen to get into a race on the highway or something when we drive cross country i will be exceeding 120MPH possibly and it would serve a purpose then, wouldnt it?

The camaro has a racing edge all one its own. Thats the sole purpose GM made them. They made them to beat out freakin Ford in the "Pony" wars. If you want to make it look diffrent there are maggazines that have body kits and diffrent rims and such for the camaros.

you will be just fine racing someone at 120 without a spoiler... so just do what you want... most everyone in here is going to think any spoiler is gay, so do what YOU think looks good!

Nailz is a FL boy, same here. But you can be dragging your muffler behind you down here Nailz. You should hear about some of the hardcore rulez up in Virgina. They are strick as a mother up there. Word to the wise never drive in VA or stay there :D

no way... don't do it, there is nothing cooler than bench seats. i wish there was a way to convert a camaro to a bench seat.

lol... yeah its hard to get road head in a camaro... especially in the six speed.

Not to hurt your feelings but you would be a disgrace to f-body owners everywhere if you put that shit on your car. If you want to be a ricer then buy one. But if you want to be noticed that would definately do it. Seriousley dude, I laugh at those kids with those huge wings on camaros. Everybody else I know does too. I just have a quick question, I wanna get a spoiler for my 1995 Z28. I want to get the APR Aluminum Wing that comes on the Supra from the first Fast and Furious. But i want it to be functional, i have been reading about it and it claims to be functional, but will it work on my car? And when i install it so i remove the stock spoiler and bolt it onto the truck? Or on to the stock spoiler? Because i would need a third brake light so i dont get pulled over. I just want something original, unique, and something that will stand out fromt eh rest and get my car noticed. Thanks, I also am getting the car prepped for autocross racing and need it to be function for that as well. I also am doing the front end convesion, most likely the black housing halo headlights, xenon front, and ultra Z hood, and if you know anyone that makes fenders that are wider than the stock ones please let me know, Thanks.
