96 Saturn SL1 wont start because of anti theft device

I bought a 96 Saturn on Tuesday and had to replace the battery today, however some anti-theft device engaged and I now cannot start the car. Everything works (lights, radio, horn, etc) but when i try to start it the hazards and the dash lights blink and the chime goes on. Anyone got any ideas?

you may want to call up your saturn dealership, they should be able to tell you how to reset it. (plus i think every car has a different code, give them your VIN and they will give you the code)
