Well it happened....

yup, it finally happened, bought myself a new car :lol:.

Well not so new. Heres the story, my brother bought a 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse RS last august and did some things to it for a show car (rims, spoiler, body kit etc...). He has stored it during the winter and it barely has over 5k km on it. He doesnt want to keep it anymore and offerd it to me, so I took him up on the offer and bought it off him for 750$ :grinno:. Now he didnt wanna give it away and just needed that much money for school supplies. He is currently saving up for a year or two for a Subaru STi.

I don't wanna sell it yet. My brother bought it last year and there are still some payments to be made. the 1st gen is still here, as well my dad bought himself a 1992 Honda Accord EX just because he wants a car too.
Thinking of just keeping it around as show car and then buying myself a 2nd gen as project car...we'll have to wait and see

100% sotck tail lights. 17 inch rims. Saving up this winter for things to do to it next summer. Looked into Stage 3 of rippmods supercharger and everything would cost me over 10 grand.
The point about my brother getting chics from this car was only to show that it gets attention/it looks good as it is right now.

Although the rims do like a bit small on the car, and the car could use a lowering kit.

I actually like that bodykit more than the stock one, I think eclipses look fugly with the stock body. I don't like the current gen eclipse's either, but hell I'd take that one for $750. And why do it seem like every male car owner thinks that his car will pick up girls? I was in the Civic forums once and one of em were like "at least the Civic is a chic magnet!"
