Yep, it's taken awhile. Between family, work and starting other projects it takes time. I started two other models after I started this one.
Another thing that takes time is all of the modifications I make to these vintage kits. Just not as simple as painting and gluing together Tamiya's latest. :evillol:
The joke with some of my friends in our Club is that you can open a Tamiya kit, remove all of the parts from the trees and put them back in the box. Put the lid on and shake well. Open the box and you have a built model!!!
Thanks for the comments. Marc

MV Lenses for headlights. Turn signals are opened up stockers with modified lenses from Modeler's backed with BMF. HO scale model railroad photoetch catwalk for the grill material.

Going for a Euro-look in the rear, I used MV Lenses for the taillights, red ones on the outside and amber tinted clear ones for the turn signals.
Enjoy!!!

Slow progress this week on the Cuda. First pic of the underside of engine mock up shows modified 4 into 1 headers from the AMT Coronet pro street kit with Evergreen tubing for headpipes. I shortened the headers to fit the Cuda and added flanges where they meet the cylinder heads. The stock MPC kit exhaust is in the foreground.

For maximum stopping power the Cuda will be getting a set of Brembo's with drilled rotors. These Fujimi pieces have the drilled detail molded in, but I have spent plenty of time with a pin vise and a #78 drill bit to get a more realistic look. The one on the right is not completely drilled for comparison purposes.

I guess I don't get on here much because I hadn't seen this yet. Very cool! Love the color. Pro touring is just about all I like to build.
