Where can I find my PCV valve on my 94 SL2 DOHC??? I was going to replace it and I don't really know where to find it. Haynes manual is vague on the subject. All I know is it is for the crankcase and leads to the intake. I looked and don't see anything. Please help.

ONLY USE THE OEM PVC VALVE DIRECTLY FOR THE SATURN DEALERSHIP, AFTERMARKET VALVE DON'T WORK(sorry for yelling, but its true)

its mounted on the valve cover behing the filler cap, connected to two 90 degree elbows that connect to the intake manifold.

Thank you for the help. When I think "Positive Crankcase Ventilation" valve, I'm thinking bottom of the engine. (You know, where the crankshaft is.) I didn't think it would be connected to the "Valve Cover".

Anyway, thank you and I found it.

What is it with the aftermarket PCV valves that don't work?

a PCV valve has certain flow rates, non-OEM brands rarely if ever have the right flow rate. more so, they try to make these peices univerisal in applictions that have different specs. i remember seeing one brand that listed the same part for saturns and a isuzu. saturn has named this as a problem in some TSBs. heres a line from one TSB:

Verify that the correct PCV valve is installed. Some aftermarket PCV valves do not meet Saturn specs and can cause oil consumption.
