I recently purchased a used 1995 Windstar with the keyless entry keypad on the drivers door but I don't have the code to enter, can anyone help me create my own code or obtain the code.

Hi
try this: remove the U shaped trim panel at the bottom of the dashboard area near the floor. Behind the lower storage door area there is a vertical dash frame member. Attached on the back (engine side) of the member should be the "brains" of the keyless entry. Look for a square shaped electronic box about 3-4" square. It should have an antenna lead plugged into it that looks like the one on a car stereo. Hopefully attached to this box - you will likely have to remove it/or use a mirror - is a sticker with the default code. Use that code, or use it to enter your own - your owners manual should tell you how.
In the meanwhile, did you know you can lock the car from outside using the last two pads together?
Good luck

Thank You, that worked out for me and now I have my code, the only thing I need now is an owners manual.

Hi
glad you found it. Now to use it: enter the default code on the door and the drivers door should unlock. Press the 3/4 button within 5 seconds and the slider/liftgate should unlock. Press 7/8 and 9/0 together and the doors should lock.
To change the code (actually you are adding a code. The default code will always work in addition to your added code) enter the default code, press 1/2 within five seconds then enter your new five digit code. You use it the same way as the default.
Good luck. Wish I had the keypad. Original owner got everythng but.
