i was told that i would have to get a new hood so i could fit a b18. is that true. is there a way around it.

I think it also depends on the kind of mounts you use. alot of companies have corrected this issue, so you can use your factory hood.

only motors i've seen with modified hoods in a rex is a ZC and a K20

if it is ls vtec the hood may not fit my friend had that problem on his crx and it came up pne day and smashed his whole windshield

B18A fits with the stock hood and HCP mounts....

But I believe that if you have mounts that let the hood close without touching the valve cover at all means that your motor is sitting really low. Which means you gotta be carefull of shit hitting your oil pan.

also you can just cut the skelaton not what i'd reccomend but i've seen it done before but should slide in fine. Be cool get a C/F hood just incase =)
