i wint to the show just to see what i was getting and all i had was a alipne type r 15 in a 2.1 cube foot box with a rf power 800.2 and i hit 135.8db. i was at that time in first place but you have to get the highest db out of each round and win the last round came i lost soo much power form the batt the first 2 rounds that i only hit 135.2 and the other guy hit 135.3 and i lost

battcaps are not alowed in the street class. That will move you up to Super street. Building a ported box tuned to the resonaqt freq of your car is the way to go. I 15 in a box below the window line in the cargo area of the car is considered street b in dbdrag. What type of car is it? If it is a crx, hehehe, i got the box for you man. Good idea on upgrading your amp and power wire. Caps won't help you at comps, it just drains the bat. Battery, check. I would also suggest, if you are seriuous about it, different speaker.
