Windstar Vans

Wow, lots of problems with these vans eh. I am currently on my 3rd Windstar. I have leased 2 and purchased 1. Big mistake. Anything over the 3rd year forget it. Problems after problems. My last 1, which is a 2000 SEL, I've lost the tranny with 52k, and it has not been the same since. Front end is loose, probably tie rod ends or something. Noise comes from the transmission end ( clunks and bangs ) However it only seems like you can hear it from the inside.
I've liked and trusted these vehicles with my family and myself, but know I am beginning to have my doubts. Out of all the other vans on the market. Which is a good comfortable van ?
