Nail polish is just paint. It comes in enamel, acrylic, and lacquer.

I still need to try this. This is probably the cheapest way to make color shift paint job

It is. I have four (2 pairs of dupes) bottles of Sally Hansen primsatic nailpolish. One is a ruddy red that shifts to gold. green, and blue, and the other is a pearl white that shifts through all the colors of the rainbow. I got them when I had a plan to make 5 Civics - all with different modification styles (Drag, road race, stock, and a couple different show cars.) While available (they may or may not be available anylonger), the bottles were something like $2 apeice, and one should cover an entire model (I got dupes 'cause I didn't want to flub it, and not have any to repair the job).

So what to do the sales people think when all you men go to buy nailpolish? Or do you have your wives buy them for you?

lol @ vric
I take my fieonce in with me when i buy them. But i still get funny looks when i'm standing there scanning the nailpolish display while she's behind me complaining about me taking too long to decide what color i want.

Nice. That's hilarious, my GF doesn't really ever wear it, so, I don't really care....she usually picks the colors!

its sad if u think if youre a man and scared to buy nail polish, tho ive never bought it, i have bought stuff thats pink before, and yea people kinda give me a weird look at my pink shoe laces, but hell, im a guy, im straight, and have a gf to prove it, if any one wants prove, tho we/ all men shouldnt have to prove any thing if we buy some thing thats pink just because homosexual people buy stuff that is that color, or women, people shouldnt be that considered about some body buying some thing
sorry if thats offensive:)

Screw what people think. I use nail polish regularly on my models and I don't care what they think when they see me buying it. I'm verysecure with my manhood and don't really give a crap what others think when I'm buying things like that; I'll even explain to them why sometimes and invite them to my website to see what the end results are.:sunglasse
