SRT-4 vs Focus SVT.

a stock base model corvette is the same speed as the z28/ss camaro. even though its still pretty fast, its a shitty base model just like the rest of em.

the only vettes that i cant win against are some z06's, and all the liegenfighter(spelling?) vettes.

anyone in a stock z28/ss can take out a vette if they have decent driving skills

I dunno about that, maybe if the Camaro or T/A was an LT1 that would be true. For the majority of them, i doubt they could take a vette out, even just a bland C5 model.

all focus's are slow

Not all are slow. The SVT is fast. Perhaps compared to others in it's class in straight line runs they aren't as quick, but the gaps in the times aren't far apart in those cases. Take a Focus and a Cavalier or something with similar equipment and run at a track with corners. The Focus will come out on top as it's handling capabilities are by far superior.

i think a svt focus runs mid to high 15's and srt-4 vary from 14.2-13.6 i guess :rolleyes:

I really doubt the srt-4's are in the 13's stock...Well I insert my foot in my mouth. Did some searching and found C&D did it in 13.9 I forgot that these puppies power numbers are underrated by quite a bit. But is there really one that ran 13.6 stock?!?

Well thats kinda funny because they run mid to high 13's stock! ROFL and anways i swear no bullshit i beat a late 90 I think it was LT1 comaro! I beat it completely stock at a street race and the guy couldn't beleve it! Beilve it or not but SRT-4's, EVO's, STI's are beating the regular corvettes! But not them z06's! NEVER! lol unless them 3 cars are extremly modded

yeah those sti's are fast...real fast. My car and driver magazine says the new sti does 0-60 in 4.6. I think the 97+ vette does 0-60 in 4.7?

The EVO is the best looking outa the whole group, IMHO...but if I'm gonna turbo an AWD...Id go with a 330xi. Turbo, I/H/E/C, beefy intercooler. That would be sexy.

the SRT-4 will beat a Focus by a big margin. Just race him. You might like it.

Someone need's to turbo a SVT Focus or Contour and show this guy who really win's..

shit yea. a neon is a total piece of trash, and they made it 100 times worse by putting a turbo in it. for the same price, you could have bought a used WRX which would kill your car in all aspects. neons cant handle worth crap. all dodge did was put a turbo in an SXT neon. if someone put a turbo into an SVT or even a regular focus, you wouldnt be anything. so, yes, you would beat him, but the fact he is Naturally Aspriated, that doesnt make it a win to brag about, because he would kill you beyond belief if he had a turbo. heck, if you guys got on a twisty road, he would leave you like a joke, even N/A.
