99 SC2 Brake Light Fuse

I have a 99 SC2 that can't keep a Brake Light Fuse for more than a few days. I have traced evey inch of all the wiring and find nothing wrong. Tested for shorts from Brake Switch all the way back to each lamp. Nothing. I have put fuses up 30 Amps in and it blows those after several days of driving. Does anybody have any ideas? I'm getting ready to run a whole new brake circuit but don't know what else may be feeding off that circuit now. Thanks for any help.

Do you have an aftermarket stereo? In my grand am, which has the same stereo wiring as my saturn, i wired the dimmer wrong and I kept blowing my brake fuse also

DON'T PUT 30 AMP FUSES IN THERE! stick with the 15 amp, they use the 15 amp fuse for a reason.

i don't see anything else on the BRAKE fuse except one wire from the stop light switch to the ABS, but it doesn't power it.

heres what you should do, take out every brake bulb and make sure they are all the right type, i have a feeling someone stuck a single filimint(SP?) in there instead of a double. while you are back there, look for corrosion on the connecters and any breaks in the wire's instalation( i can't spell anything today). if this still doesn't work, you'll need a ampmeter big enough to go above 30 amps
