I have purchased a 2001 Windstar from a used dealer. I need to know how to get and/or reset the door keypad codes so i may also enjoy this wonderful world of no keys at the work site.

No, All i have is the key pads on the door, no ideal of how to get the factory code and reset with my own. The owner manual does talk about how to set it if you have the factory codes.

I was fortunate enough to have teh original dealer's service manual in the car when I bougt miy van. I called the dealer and gave him the VIN number. They gave me the code. Other than that, try calling Ford of Canada. I do believe they have an 800 number that works in US and Canada.

My dad bought a 1999 Crown Vic (used) from dealer. He didn't have the code or the owner's manual. The dealer told him that there is a number inside the trunk lid that they could look up. That worked and he reset the code.
