look here (http://www.mixunit.com/bestofseries.html).
they have lots of good mix tapes. that's the way to go considering they usually put the artists best songs on them. they're pretty cheap too.
or you could just look at the song titles and see what kazaa's got.

I would have to agree with the above post. Nas is my favorite rapper, very good stuff. Some songs by him to download if interested: Undying love, Money is my bitch, drunk by myself, the message, street dreams. There is a lot more but I cannot think of them right now.

Because to be honest yea i still love my metal, but the music is so insane i just cant groove. kinda makes you want to drive into a crowd of small children if you've got Lamb Of God on full blast, you know?
Besides, now alot of my friends have lisences, its not just about fitting in, its about expanding musical interests anyway.
Oh yea. and whats the difference between hiphop and rap?

music in the car? hmm..let see..
First ask a friend who downloads music (or if YOU download music) to download Dj Encore- I see right through you and E- DrunkenMunkey.
Now as for rap/hip-hop, go wit Kanye West, Ludacris, and Lil Jon and the East side boys. Some specific songs are : Selfish- by some artist featuring Kanye West, Splash Waterfalls by Ludacris, Stand Up by Ludacris, and Get Low by Lil Jon and the East side boys.
But the UNDISPUTED KING of car music is USHER! go out and BUY HIS CD RIGHT NOW! GO! TURN OFF UR SCREEN AND GO!! ASK FOR HIS LATEST CD!! DAMMIT!
seriously, his songs are the best for cruising around.
AND WAT R U STILL DOING HERE! GO!
oh yea, and R&B is one of the best types of music to cruise around in, I would recommend Brian Mcknight and Joe. Get their cd's.

"the beats. hip hop as you would think is more like clubbing dancing type shit, where as rap is more lyrical type stuff"
Rap IS hip hop.
Hip hop is a culture started in the mid to late 70's in New York. There were many gangs that would fight, and it would bring them togeather instead of fighting. They would work hard to become skilled in areas such as dancing(breaking) or being a great dj and even compete as people in sports compete instead of fighting. It's about expression, originality, unity, and respect/knowledge. There are four main elements to it and one forgotten element that so many people "leave out" or forget. There are lesser elements but I wont' get into those.
The dance, rocking your body, "breaking" if you will. Real hip hop dance = breaking, party dance, rockin, freestyle. The pop type dance people do today like Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears is not hip hop. It's watered down jazz. Any of the dancing in the movie You Got Served that is not breaking is not hip hop, and believe me, there is plenty of non hip hop dance in that movie that they think they're "battling" with. The original and in my mind only battle dance is breaking. Breaking has foundation, specific moves, and is a formed dance.
The mc, master of ceremonies, is not a rapper. At jams(hip hop events) he'd be up on stage running things, he'd also entertain by rhyming which is also known as rapping today. Most people know rappers today as a MC on wax. Rap originally meant to speak out, I think Rapper Delight album from Sugar Hill Gang is where hip hop recording artists got the name.
Then there is the dj who would cut beats, play breaks for the mc to rhyme to and people to dance to.
Then there is the graffitti artist who in my opinion got off on the wrong foot because it's illegal and disrespectful.
There is also knowledge/respect which should speak for itself.
So there you have it, hip hop as a culture and rap as a part of hip hop culture.
Rap IS hip hop.

I don't think anyone has mentioned it yet, but Twista is excellent. His new album Kamikaze is awesome. Great beat and bass, and good lyrics. Oh did I mention he is one of the fastest rapper in the world over 600 syllables in under a minute. The current record holder is Rebel XD at 683 syllables in 54.501 seconds. That fast enough for ya.

I listen to Tupac, Outlawz, Bone Thugz n Harmony, Ice Cube, Westside Connection, NWA and Nas. Then there are the odd songs I like from other artists. Check out GZA - Breaker.

Could be MUCH worse. The whole country could be taking a Wellington-like approach to culture. Imagine it: Streets crawling with hippies and Green-voters, the whole country looking like Cuba Street and REGGAE being the mainstream music. This destruction of Cuba street can't come soon enough.

You mean the "unique individuals" who actually dress alike? There's more of them than there are of us normal folks. The wannabe gangsta's are my favourite. I don't know if anyone remembers that song by Sarai (the one hit wonder white chick rapper who looked like she should be singing Britney Spears music) anyways this group of homies trying to look hardcore drove past me with that playing as loud as they could get it. I was ready to die laughing. The end.

He wants to broaden his horizons by exposing himself to different music. at least he's trying. i give him more credit than the closed minded bigots we call moderators.
