i got a full energy suspension kit for my civic 4 door dx..
im trying to put in the bushings for the lower control arm im trying to get out the damper fork rubber bushing... how do you get them out and is there a metal part to get out other than the ring in the middle of the bushing ?

your better opff paying 100 bucks or whatever it is and have a shop put the kit on be so much easier and less likely to break anything bud what i did...but its up to you

the way we did it, was burn the old bushing out with a torch, then with a dremel cut the metal sleve in the arm, once a slit is made it slides right out. replace with Energy suspension and move to the next one... not hard just time consuming.

THANKS well a rotozip work for this and what tool part on that thing you use? like jsut those little cutting tools

Ok here is what I did its easy and doesn't take a long time either. Use a torch one you can get at home depot or hardware store. Get the thing really hot "melting" and push it out. Then use the roto zip to cut a line across the metal part it will pop when you get thru it and it will fall out. I tried a roto zip on the first one I did and it fucked up the bearing in the roto zip cause it takes 4-ever to get thru that rubber. Do a search for this kit on here I did a full write up on replacing all the bushings on my old Si. Pics too.

wich way did you guys cut on it the sides of it or a line in the middle?
