I was driving my Buick on Route 27 W in Montauk, NY on July 4th. In my rearview I saw a long-slung black car a little ways behind me. I figured it was an NSX at first, but as it got closer I realized that I couldn't place the lines. I pulled over, and sure enough, as it got closer I realized it was the current king of the Ferrari line-up. I'd never seen one in black (it takes you off-guard as such), and never seen one on public roads. I'm not the biggest Ferrari fanatic out there, but it was definitely exciting and very rare to see one http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/images/icons/icon14.gif

Yes he was probly goin to the hamptons. One owner on L.I is non other then Mr. Hilfiger who has a red enzo. But there are 2 enzo's from what ive been told. The Merc dealership that has an Mclaren SLR in its show room, let me get to the point, one of the dealer ship managers told me 1 of his customers has a black enzo (he couldnt reveal the clients name) he also had looked at purchasing a mclaren slr as well. But his expectations were not met for the price considing its 5X the regular SLR price of around 440,000 usd. They want 2.1 million for it because its the first production SLR ever made it was auctioned off in great britain then shipped to the states. But now u know there are 2 enzo's in N.Y.

You are completely wrong..... Mr. Hilfiger is right here in Connecticut...Greenwich to be exact. Now there is someone that lives in New York with 2, thats right 2, Ferrari Enzos (red and yellow), a McLaren F1, Mercedes CLK GTR, Pagani Zonda S, Porsche Carrera GT, and many many more. He is the best guy you will ever meet. I havent seen a black one yet!

You sure about that? I heard that the Manhattan Mercedes dealership received the first US SLR and auctioned it off for $2.1 million, not the first ever made. The second US bound SLR came to the dealership I work at and was auctioned off at $1.2 million.

Suck that down! They paid almost $1 million more just to get a car before anyone else. Stupid if you ask me.

you will never beleive this but hear it goes, I live in an area on the ocean with a golfcourse and some really nice homes. The ceo and co-founder of verizon wireless has a home there. I work as a valet at the course and there was a banquet one night. I see this low car, figured it was a ferrari, it was silver but had headlights I;ve never seen before
guy pulls up and the dooors open straight up, and hands me the keys to park his McLAREN!
