if you are talking about your stock civc d series si tranny then it wont bolt up to your b18 engine. stick with the b18 tranny
you should search on what is needed to swap in a b series into the 4th gen

Yea,
I have a b18b1 along with the rest of the teg that I got from a my uncle and I have no clue what I'm going to do with it... I meen it seems that putting it in to my Civic looks like more trouble then its worth. (The Teg is totaled but only on one corner on the front with a smash going down the middle of the car to the back so I can't fix it and run it.)
I wish I had a B16A1... :(
Oh yea, stay with the stock tranny you will have less problems setting it up, or at least thats the consensus from what I have read as I as well wanted to do a motor and tranny swap.

si tranny wont fit on a b-series engine.
and Dssmax, its just as hard to put in a b16a1 as it is a b18b1...

Wow Really? I thought that because it was a OBD-0 (b16a1) that would make it eaiser... Then it would be all about the mounts and you don't have to really worry about the wiring just run the wire for the vtec.

you can run a b18b1 as a b18a1 so it can be obd0.
