New ride info

Hey I was just wondering a few things. I would like to get a sportbike but I don't know which is good for a beginner. I was thinking a YZF-R6 or a GSX-R600, I know the 1000's are a bit too much. I'm 6 feet even so I don't know what would fit me well. If anyone wouldn't mind helping me make a decision I'd appriciate it.
