New here, with a bit of a problem...

Normally I'd do my usual "hello I'm new here" post but I need some help. So "HI!!!" and now heres my problem.
I have a 1994 SC2 that has 67,000 miles on it. When this car is at a dead stop, or moving very slowly the radiator fan works perfectly, with or without the air conditioning running. If I have the a/c running the fan will just stay on constantly and be nice and cold. As soon as I am moving at highway speed (50-70mph) the a/c isnt quite as cold and the fan either isn't coming on at all (cant hear it cause its just too quiet to hear) or its not doing enough. The temp gauge will hover right before the red zone and as soon as I shut the a/c off and go back down to a very slow speed or stopped it goes back down to a little below the half way mark. I'm told a LOT of people have this problem, but I didn't last summer and now I do. The thermostat was changed recently AND it got a new module as well as a new fan.
So if anyone here can give me any ideas, catch me on AIM, reply here, email, private message, anything! I'm grasping at straws and I need the car for classes and working. :banghead:
Thanks for the help.

you should ask over at saturnfans.com
i do have a few ideas however.
1. just to confirm you replaced the thermostat, not the ECTS(coolent temp sensor), check the service history, i bet its orginal. replace it($15 piece), for the longest time saturn was using a nylon ECTS, after a few years the nylon would crack and send false readings, saturn now uses a brass ECTS, it works much better ( and i'll bet you'll see better gas mileage too!)
2. TPS(throdle position sensor). the A/C won't come on if the TPS reads WOT (wide open throdle). you need a multimeter to test the TPS. i have never seen this before on a saturn, but its not impossable.
3. was anyone messing with the wires to the fan? if the wires were backwards, the fan would blow out not in, so at highway speeds it would be fighting 70mph winds.

Both sensors were replaced with the updated parts and that solved the problem at the time. Since then I replaced the PCM and radiator. The fan is wired correctly as to factory spec and I dont believe the tps is bad because there is no check engine light and the car runs good. I believe the thermostat was replaced by the dealership but im not 100% sure. I will have to find out. I suspect maybe the leads from the ect are bad causing high resistance. Any thoughts on that?

NEW PCM?? woo woo there that changes a few things..
best move this over to saturnfans.com
high resistance could be a factor, some of the old nylon ECTS not only cracked, they leaked coolent in to the connectors, successfully gunking them up.
