99 Rodeo wiper delay faulty

My wind sheild wiper variable speeds do not work how ever the constant speeds do work. I don't think the whole motor needs to be replaced does any one know what might be wrong?

Sounds like a bad combo switch in the stalk. These are usually a pita and $$$ to replace thanks to the genuine GM parts !@#$ :banghead:

It's your Timer/Alarm module. This is a little box behind the glove box on the right side of the vehicle (it's the upper one).

The box is easy to remove and the board is easy to take out. I haven't sourced an exact replacement relay yet but I am working on this. The stock relays are good for 20amps (!).
You could swap the bad one for the one beside it which controls the rear wiper delay.
For photos of the board search for "2000Frontera" under "user name" in the gallery section. He circled the relay that controls the wiper delay function.
