If the plastic is thick enough, and has a uniform color, it could be done, after a good molding lines sanding and compound... But You'll need to paint the inside of the body with a layer of white primer, then add a layer of black paint.
It has been done for other models, I remember a Yellow Boxster "unpainted" this way on a TMM french edition...

^It would unless it has swirls in the mold or mold lines.

What has to be said is that it can be better than a bad paintjob, but will never be as good, nor better, than a good old master's paintjob...
For me, I wouldn't try that on such a "precious" kit!
