I voted other.

Its a bit of stalemate between bush and kerry for me. Kerry may be all "anti-war" now but the democrats have a history of wars[eg vietnam]. While Bush, on the other hand, altough lacking in the brains department is backed by more of a oil based lobby. So if you look at things that way for the future it really depends on what you want.
I havent lived in America[or live now] to be able to know if there are any taxation and internal governing issues and which party would have the better policies. But the majority of American's seem optimistic with their current leader/fool..

i was gonna vote for bush b/c IMO when election comes around in the middle of a conflict...he should continue his presidency as long as things are going right

but since the handover of power to the iraqis (sp) is now done...my vote is up in the air

I've said it before and I'll say it again.
My vote goes for Taranaki.
Just wait there is legislation going on (which is Rep. based of course) so that California's Gov. Terminator can run for pres.
You'll get your chance soon enough, and then you may smite the fools you see fit!
Hah hah ha!

I vote for whoever has the best ideas to me no matter what party they are. I don't like Nadar and that is that. Even though I don't like alot of shit that Bush has done. I refuse to vote for Kerry. The dumb ass can't seem to figure out what his stance is. Every time I turn around he is saying something else.

Well, it's not like Kerry's got a monopoly on flip-flopping. Here's a quick list of Bush's reversals and contortions (http://www.americanprogress.org/site/pp.asp?c=biJRJ8OVF&b=42263)

I swear, the more I read, the more those two look JUST LIKE EACH OTHER. Do they actually have a real policy difference on ANYTHING?

Hell, I'd see Nader in the White House just for a surprise. Just to see something DIFFERENT than the Republicrat machine. (but then, that's just me)

i as well voted for other. as of now i wouldnt want to see keey or bush, as one seems like a horrible candidate and the other is a horrible candidate. maybe nader is what this country needs, not the usual democrat or republican. maybe we can use someone that would actually do shit for US not HIS own beliefs.

Nader would be a disaster several times worse then Kerry or Bush would or could ever be. Every president acts on their beliefs - they're what gets them elected. Nader doesn't believe in NAFTA so he'd act on it. Nader believes that the EPA should be stronger so he'd act on it.

We can disagree with whomever is president, but every one of them believes that they are doing whats right for the country. Even presidents that I disliked or thought that did harm to the country with their policies (like Carter, FDR, Clinton and Wilson) had the best intentions for the nation.

Nader=big change

We have to ask ourselves if this is what we want

we do need change, not a huge one, but change. so far the democrats and republicans are not giving it to us. maybe its time to go down another route. it seems to me that the 2 major groups are morphing into the same group. all they do is say what they think the people will want to hear, and when they get in office do what they had actually intended to do( skrew us over for another 4 years)

I think that the problem with Nader is that he might bring huge change and drag the rest of the country around with him.

True. I really would like to see a President Ventura -- did a good job with Minnesota, and more importantly -- he could solve all disputes with other nations, trade, ICC, etc, with the Body Vice.

I'd like to see Chirac stand up to one of those!
