I don't know what the problem is with my cooing fan. It doesn't turn on at all. I have checked the fan motor, its fine, and i have looked at every fuse in the box, they all are good. What could be wrong? Also, my coolant seems to drain when it overheats. ideas?

hook up a voltmeter to the power wire going in to your fan, and it should get power at no more than 225 degrees, if you are getting power, then replace the fan, if u arent, then try replacing both coolant temp sensors. If thet dont work, then take it to the dealer.(CHEAPER THAN A HEAD)

try hooking up the fan direct to the battery to see if the motor is burned out. if not, the fan relay, or the fan switch could be the culprits....

If your coolant is being forced out of the system, you may have unwanted pressurization in the system which could mean a leaking head gasket.... compression is bypassing the gasket into the cooling system. This happened to me once. The car ran fine otherwise..... until it overheated and warped the head.

the fan motor goes bad often, either it doesn't come on when it's supposed to or the motor burns out. Try that first
