Huge Spoilers <GRRR>

geezus, i feel a hint of import vs domestic in this thread, funny thing is we started it, not him..... JEASUS CHRIST LET IT GO AND STOP THIS ENDLESS BICKERING. there is nothing older and less entertaining than a domestic vs import battle. this thread was about not putting wings on cars, especially ones that dont fly. if pure bread race cars use them fine, have fun, but on the street, which im 99 percent sure the person who started this thread was talking about, they have no use, and are dumb. so lets bash all cars, domestic and import that use them on the street. and leave each other the hell alone in all other respects. gezus, its like a friggin kindergarden class in here lately.

Okay, I did not read all through this and will not get into an Import/domestic debate, But I will say my 2 cents on big spoilers for any car.....

I do not think i have ever seen a car that a big spoiler actually looked good on. Superbirds and Daytonas were the original big production car spoilers IMO (may have been others that I do not know about), they looked NASTY. Usually if a car has a large spoiler on the back for function, It has a spoiler or air splitter in the front as well.

A REAR SPOILER DOES NO GOOD WITHOUT A FRONT SPOILER/SPLITTER THAT DOES EQUAL WORK!

I would say 99% of the cars on the street have no reason to have an oversize spoiler.

4TH gen camaros look awefull with big spoilers that are not of factory style. SS spoilers lookg good, the lip spoilers like the RS has are nice as well (even the big ones), But the spoilers that just go on the Hatch and protrude up of the car look NASTY. they do not match the lines of a Camaro at all.

4Th gen firebirds I feel a little different...I do not think any spoiler other than Factory looks good (Factory is including the optional firehawk spoiler).

GM, Honda, Toyota, Ford... there all world-wide companies now. On one hand for everyone who think they drive an import... most of the "imports" we all know like the Civic, Camry, Corolla, Accord were all designed and manufactured in the US and are cosidered imports in Asia. On the other hand, most all the parts on our camaros and other domestic cars were probably made in Tiawan. GM and Honda can both be considered foriegn and domestic... so lets stop all the hate.
