check engine when hit bump in road?

My 96, hit a bump in the road and my check enging light came on,,,my abs brakes made a lot of pumping noise too when i came to my first stop but not again after that,,,,anyone else had this happen,,,will disconnect battery to reset, but these vans are pretty weird,,,,,,,
