sticking throttle cable

i have a 2001 sc2. sometimes the gas pedal seems to stick a little & is a little hard to press. then it goes away & frees up. anybody else here have this problem?

you should start by cleaning your throttle body and throttle plate. that usually is the problem.

it's hard to imagine a car with only 10.000 miles would need this kind of service already. i see cars with dirty carbs., throttle bodies with 100.000 miles on them & that's to be expected. but a car with 10.000?
