In the first place I am still continuing the project, there are about 8 posts saying I may have to dump the project to limited availability of materials, thus asking for suggestions.

As far as progree more in this thread, than mine. I used to update it everyday, and almost every page, and kept it on topic.


Now to deal with the OT posts in this thread. This is directly quoted from Tim.

Over in S/D there has been some problems with getting waaay too offtopic. I have closed a coup,e threads that have completely lost the point of the thread, and I know Mike has too. Some even involvoing discussing why members are banned, which were locked quickly.

So they took it upon themselves to creat an "off-topic thread". My feeling is, thats what the OT forum is for. If they dont like that, PMs.

OT chat belongs in OT. If they dont like OT, they have PMs.


I'm going to talk to Tim with this matter and he can deal with it as well.

I mean c'mon...Mike doesn't want us to clog up S&D with non-S&D related posts. Members of S&D want a place where they can talk OT to people that they know.

Now we know what each other want. So don't gang up on mike, and vice versa. Instead, why don't you just try to make a truce?

Mike'll stop nagging us if we stop all this OT posting, but there must be somewhere we can post OT, because we like talking within OUR forum, not to complete strangers..

My solution? A sub-forum within S&D that we can talk OT. Then, there will be no more OT posts here, and it will stay orderly. And from my standpoint, that is what both of us want. The Mods get a nice clean orgonized S&D forum with no OT or otherwise, and we get somewhere to talk among US...

i talked to tim about it a while ago and he said it was a possibility but igor would have to make it and igor is well.... hard to make contact with..... but that was my original idea and i think ALL of us would benifit from that
