Weird vibration ?

My girlfriends 90 4-door auto. does this really odd vibration thing (farely loud too) when stopped but still in gear (ie. sitting at a drive through window). If she pushes it up into neutral the car stops vibrations...what's going on here? Any input?Thanks, Jason

so its just rough idle
i dont know what you could do about it but i know the same thing happens to my dads corolla

its your idle. Its probably set too low. To see, when she has it in gear and yoru sitting there, give it the slighest bit of gas, if the vibration stops, then you know you gotta get your idle set higher. The same exact thing is wrong wiht my camry, too low of idle.

First thing I would check for is loose exhaust heatshields, manifold,, a-pipe, cat, etc.
