So I checked some stuff and found my lower radiator hose was still cold and the top hose was hot as hell. So I guess I'm getting no flow right?
I want to flush my radiator and put in a new thermostat and I was wondering if someone can tell me the correct way to do this.
Also where is the bleeder valve located? Post a pic if ya can.
Thanks.

OK I found it but nothing came out at all unless I squuezed on the tubes. Guess when they put the motor in the didn't fill the radiator correctly.
Thanks for the reply.

i can't remember exactly but i think you're supposed to run the engine, let it bubble out, and as soon as it starts to bubble, cut the engine off and tighten bleed valve... i tried it recently when i had same situation recently, but damn thing is so tight, I couldn't budge it... turns out... both hoses get hot, just wasn't running long enough and fan stays on all the time so bottom hose gets hot late

Yeah, I let it run a while before I did it.

you should probably test your thermostat or just put the necessary amount of coolant/water in it first... then after running it for awhile if it still gets hot like that, check thermostat by putting it in hot water if it opens it works if not...

Tonight after I got home from work and the motor was nice and hot I turned the bleeder screw and water slowly came out then it started to come out really good. Then about that time my car dropped to 500 rpms, just like it does when it starts to bog and no more water was coming out the bleeder screw. :|
