I need to replace my belt but I don't know how to proceed. I loosened the tensioner bolt. The tensioner is now wobbly but it hasn't moved enough to get the belt around it when it's around all the other accessory wheels. Does anyone know the proper way to replace the belt?

the tensioner is spring loaded, you probably loosened the idler pulley, there is a pulley located just to the right of the alternator, that is the tensioner, use a 14mm or 9/16 open end wrench to release tension on the belt. I've replaced several of these, and not to sound like a jerk, but if you couldn't even figure out how to loosen the belt tensioner you probably shouldn't be working on your own car.
