2001 Saturn SC2 Amplifier Installation - Need Help

I'm installing an amplifier and a couple of subs in my 2001 Saturn SC-2 and need some help with the wiring. I've never done an installation in a car before and after looking over my car, I really have no idea where I can run the wires from the head unit to the trunk and from the battery to the trunk. I could just start removing panels one at a time until I find a good place to run the wires, but I really don't want to do that. Can anyone who has done an installation on a 2000-2002 SC-1 or SC-2 give me some tips on where to begin?

go get an amp wiring kit, they have instructions, and all the right wiring for you. any basic car audio place will have this. everything is pretty much runa lready, you will however want to run a few mroe lines... namely RCA for the amp, and then the power kit. as far as running wires.. its up to you, just remember.. power down one side, and the speaker cable//rca down the other. simple rules, and ALWAYS disconnect the battery before playing with power.
