Problem with battery draining

I'm having a problem where the battery is not holding its charge overnight. During the day, when I run the car at least once every 4-6 hours, it's fine. The engine turns over and it will jump start fine. There was some corrosion on the positive side of the battery, but I've had it removed. Is this all that could be wrong with it? or do I need to look into getting a new battery?
