alarm chirp?

i have a 2003 impala ls.. and i turned alarm chirp on and, when i click lock on the key pad it doesnt chirp? how do i make it chirp?

I have a 2003 Impala ls and I believe you can change your options through the radio or atleast that is how I change mine. If you have a owners manual it will tell you how to do it in there.

You control it in the radio, look in your owners manual like he said, you can set it to chirp when you unlock, or lock it, or if you just unlock it. You can also make the lights flash or you can make it do nothing at all when you lock it. I found out on mine and i'm sure it's the same for everyone else. If one of the doors isn't shut all the way, it won't chirp, it's just a way for it to tell you something is not right, if you have it set on chirp and it doesn't it would be something in the wires, or somehow your car can't register that all the doors are shut...its weird but another wonderful chevy invention:)
