I have got what I suspect to be an alternator problem with my 2000 Windstar 3.0L. Alternator stops charging when warm and after stopping and starting enginge. When cold always charges 14,6 Volts.
A Ford replacement unit is $730 in my country ( Sweden) and I noticed that it is about $200 in the US. I have started to find an american company that can deliver a unit internationally and run into Autopart (www.autopart.com), the only problem is that they do not accept credit card payment, but need pre-payment by money transfer ( Western Union). Anyone have any experience of this company? Anyone know of any other company shipping this part internationally? What price shall I pay?
Appreciate any advice!

I have never delt with this company before, but the price sounds right. The lowest price I've found for my 1998 is $185 if I bring in the old alternator.

Hi Janne
Take a look at fordpartsonline.com. I don't know about their international policies but have had good transactions in the past with them.
