SL1 Stalled

SL1 stalled today and I was wondering what it might have been that caused it.
Heres what happened exactly:
I left for the road, with the AC and radio on.
Drove about 8 miles with no problems. Then I got to this one section with alot of construction. I felt it studder down like it was gonna stall, but when I accelerated, it stopped. Then as I slowed down at another stop, it completely stalled. The battery light and oil light came on.
Checked the oil, that was fine. Battery looked ok. Everything was still powering up, the lights, the windows, the dash. But it would not start. A few tries it studdered and would not start. A few tries after that it would just crank and not even studder. Then I applied pressed the throttle and started it. It caught and reved high for a moment, then idled down like normal. After that, I drove the rest of the way home with no radio and AC.
Any ideas what could have caused it to stall like that?

Sounds like it was just vapor lock. Vapor lock can happen if it is really hot and you are at high altitude (happens more at high altitude than low but can still happen at either because of heat). And when the car stalls, the battery light and oil light always comes on, just so you know. You sort of did the right thing when it first started to stall; you put it in neutral and then rev the engine, but turning off the A/C was smart (although I don't think you had to turn the radio off). Hope this helps.
