Here in Seattle lets say it a little pricier. Unleaded is $2.37 at the cheapest. This sucks because I have to pay for my own gas. Hey Jayson how much horsepower is your 2.4L putting out?

here in Eugene, Oregon, regular is about $2.39 and premium (92 octane) is around $2.59. About 60 miles south, the price is about $3.00 for regular (and goes up from there!!)

Here, they expect the price for regular to be over $3.50 by August, or even more!!

Do what I did...Invest in Oil companies and refineries. If the gas is this expensive with no sign of it going down, you might as well make some money off it.

Mr Skyline
10-27-2004, 11:49 AM
it's around £0.90 which is roughly $1.60 on average over in the UK pretty disgusting I think, 70% of it is tax and hardly any of it is put back into the roads, it is 97 RON though

sirsmiley
10-31-2004, 07:25 PM
about 3 dollars US for a gallon here in canada...and the oil companies all just announced they made record quarterly earnings, what a surprise!!!

such a rip off, we have the worlds largest oil reserve and they produce enough from it to fuel our country easily, and all the taxes that are supposed to go to fix our roads and for maintenance just go to useless government corruption

Hey, stop complaining! Not too long ago, some reporters were interviewing some Americans about the gas prices, and when the Norwegian reporter told them how much the gas cost in Norway, they thought he was joking!

A gallon costs here anything between US$ 5,50 and 6,50. So stop complaining!

ditto.

and i saw a prediction that Australia will hit AUD$3 a litre... so about USD$9 a gallon within the next year.

thats a HUGE increase though for 12 months.

O.k. goes to your window. How much HP have the cars on the road before your house? If I go to my window I see Cars with 45, 60, 75 or 90hp!
O.K. we have Porsche, Mercedes and BMW but for the most Peoble these cars are more important:

Do you have the ability to buy hondas? I buy hondas. Your hondas have more power than our hondas (except V6) So, I would be better off carwise. BTW I love the 206 and would probably pick up one of those up when I arrived.

You have obviously never experienced the level of crap that is an American car. If our cars are so great, why does everyone buy imports?

P.S. Isn't it great arguing with someone about their country being better than yours

1. The 206 is O.K. Not more and not less! The quality is not so good and the spare parts are relatively expensive!

2. German Cars are very expensive!

3. The last 6 Years German Buyer buy more and more Import Cars. This Cars are cheaper and in many cases trustier then German Cars!

4. German Cars are not any longer as reliable as in former times. Recalls, recalls, recalls! At present Daimler has a big recall ( over 1.3Millions Cars with Brake Problems and so on ). In our breakdowns statistics we have, from Place 1 to Place 9, Japanese cars! And this over Years!

american cars suck. They've improved a lot lately, but the interior quality of most of them still sucks. The corvette, for example, a $55,000 car, has a low quality interior. It's really unacceptable.

About the horsepower... the cars in my driveway right now have 250, 170, and 180 hp.

Sure but the Price from 30.000US $ to ........... is too high for many Germans! :disappoin We have strong economic problems!
In this year many Companies have NEW cheap Cars for the German Buyers in the Price Class between 9660 - 13.000US $. That is a new trend!
6 Years before the German Average age of Cars was 3.5 Years. Now we have a Average age of 7.2 Years! No Money - no new Car! :disappoin
