I was out in the boondocks last night, and I saw a lone pump at the edge of this gas station i stopped at, it said racing gas, only $1.65/gallon!!

It's probably that AVGAS crap so it'd probably tear up my car but day-um, I want gas that cheap :(

Correction, it's over $3.00 for 87 everywhere around here now.

On 1/1/05 I posted in this thread that it was $1.63.

Now it's $1.86. It'd be nice if by January it was down in the 1.6x range again.

yeah gas is cheaper here then a lot of places but it is still high yeah I know. I heard that were one of the lower priced countries when it comes to gas. is this correct?

Carfreak18

Would this cheaper price be because of the higher supply of oil in texas?

NY its right around 3 bucks...and gettin higher:disappoin

I heard the UK and several other places over in Europe hav been very expensive for years. Even Canada is more expensive than the U.S.
Seen somewhere it was under $1, some third world country with like 12 cars :dunno: Even $1 a gal is to much :grinyes:

And just wait, it'll get worse before it gets better.

over in Europe and other countries the price of gas has been high for so long that i think they have just grown accustom to it. over here in the states we were used to gas being like .80-1.00 a gallon. now that it has started to rise we are noticing it more.

on a side note, when i was in spain 4 years ago it was like 4 dollars a liter. 3.78 liters equals 1 gallon.

Premium 93 in NE Ohio has ben about $3 for a while , I am glad they do not run on bottled water,,

In Spain we have the 95 octane to 3.76$ per gallon and the 98 octane to 4.00$ per gallon

:(

Do not complain. Here in Norway we pay 6,70 USD pr gallon 95 octane (= US 91 or 93 octane...?) and we are the world third largest oil exporter...
