ok ok so im still thinking about puttin in the d16z6 in my 91 hb. i've got the ecu from the 94 civic the motor came from but not the wire harness. what do i do. can i use the factory d15 harness and wire in a switch for vtec or should i buy a whole new harness, if so how might i come across one.

you can rewire the current harness....or buy a piggyback harness which would essentially make the ecu plug and play...you'd just have to run like 6 wires into the engine bay....

the guy marked001 mentioned has been doing it for a couple of years now. i have sent many people to him. i have bought 1 myself. not only will you get a working harness but he sends detailed instructions & pics of the dizzy plug that needs to be repinned. or at least he used to...i know i got that with my harness.

the 8 (not 6 :slap: ) taped wires are the ones to be extended. 1 side of the harness plugs into the ecu and the other side into your stock harness
