holy shit dude, that's crazy. how much of a PITA was it to swap the 3.5 into the 4th gen? i've always said that would be the ultimate maxima.

Its not too difficult. All the timing stuff has to be swapped as well as the timing cases so that the 4th Gen electronics are used so that the computer still thinks its a 3.0L. Throttle body has to be converted to cable and the injector plugs swapped. Cams have to be drilled so that the 4th Gen pulleys can be used.
Trans etc just bolts on so not real difficult. I wasn't the first, there were 4 or 5 others who did it first so I just had to follow their instructions.
It sure attracts a lot of attention at the track and the most common question I get is how big a shot of nitrous I am using. Not sure if I will get to install the nitrous this year or not, we just got some snow today but if not I will in the spring.

stock 2002 Maxima 15.5 out of a mag? that has to be a 4th generation maxima mag time. like the model maxima i have.
